Three people came to me this week because they were upset by their own negative thinking. I suggested that when negative thinking takes over their minds, try to find balance by thinking about or writing down the positive things in their lives. We can all get discouraged sometimes. We forget how far we have come in other ways. We need to remind ourselves of the other side of the coin. The glass is not just half empty, it is also half full. remember the whole glass to balance positive and negative.

When a negative mood comes along. You can also just notice the mood knowing that it will pass and you will feel better in a few minutes. So just notice the bad mood and let it pass.
